Guidance’s commitment to the community goes beyond providing excellence in customer care. We recognize the importance of supporting those neighborhoods where we do business. On an annual basis we sponsor numerous events while continuing to provide greater education on the benefits of home ownership the Sharia way. Below are just some of the many events we have sponsored.

DC Metropolitan Area Eid al Adha Holiday Celebration – January 10, 2006
Washington, DC

Guidance has been active in supporting many Eid celebrations across the country. In the last four years the company has sponsored most of the Eid events in the DC Metro area. An estimated 10,000 Muslims attended the latest Eid al Adha celebration held at the Washington Convention Center. As in previous years many of the area’s Masajids participated in the event including the ADAMS Center which was the lead organizer. As one of the main sponsors, Guidance was proud to provide its support on such a joyous occasion.

New Jersey Eid al Fitr Holiday Celebration – November 3, 2005
Edison, New Jersey

For the last four year’s Guidance has been active in supporting the Eid al Fitr celebrations of many communities across the country. Over 5,000 Muslims attended the prayer and celebration event held at the Raritan Center. This year’s event was organized by the Pakistan American Society, in conjunction with the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. As the official sponsor, Guidance was proud to provide its support on such a festive occasion.

Pennsylvania Eid al Fitr Holiday Celebration – November 3, 2005
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The United Muslims Masjid (UMM) hosted this year’s Eid al Fitr celebrations at the historic Navy Yard. The event attracted many community members from across the Philadelphia area. Guidance was proud to be the official sponsor of the gathering.

Minnesota Community Iftar Gathering – October 21, 2005
Savage, Minnesota.

Guidance was honored to be the sponsor of many Iftar gatherings this Ramadan including one that took place at the Al-Salaam Islamic center of Minneapolis. The evening kicked off with a short educational session on Guidance, which included the fundamentals of financing your home the Sharia way. Following the session, the group broke their fast, participated in Maghrib prayers then had Iftar.

ISNA Annual Convention – September 2 to 4, 2005
Chicago, Illinois

Guidance was proud to be a major sponsor of Islamic Society of North America’s 42nd annual national convention, which was held on Labor Day weekend in Chicago, Illinois. This marked the fourth consecutive year that Guidance provided sponsorship support for the largest American Muslim event of the year.

The theme of this year’s convention was, Muslims in North America - Accomplishments, Challenges and the Road Ahead. Guidance was honored to speak at one of the educational sessions titled Pioneering Efforts in Islamic Finance. According to ISNA, this year’s convention attracted over 35,000 attendees.
